What Is Web Image Optimization?
Web image optimization reduces file size through compression, resizing, and format conversion, which speeds up page loading and saves bandwidth.
A common approach is to output WebP and choose an appropriate compression quality to balance quality against file size.
How to Use
Optimize your images in three steps:
- Upload images (up to 10) in PNG, JPG, WEBP, or BMP format.
- Set the maximum width, quality, and output format (WebP/JPEG/PNG).
- Click Optimize All, then download images individually or as a ZIP.
Tips
- For web background images, output WebP and lower the quality a bit.
- For icons or images that need transparency, choose PNG or WebP.
- Compare the old and new file sizes before optimizing to avoid over-compressing.
