What is a Video Speed Changer?
This tool changes the playback speed of a video — speed it up to 4x or slow it down to 0.25x. The audio is processed with the atempo filter, so the pitch stays the same instead of going squeaky.
How to use
Done in three steps:
- Upload a video (drag & drop or click).
- Drag the slider or tap a preset to choose the speed (0.25x–4x).
- Click “Change Speed” and download the result when done.
Tips
- After speeding up, the duration is about 1/speed of the original; the same applies when slowing down.
- Audio stays in sync with the picture and the pitch is preserved.
- Processing happens entirely in your browser; the video is never uploaded.
