What Is a Video Thumbnail?
The Video Thumbnail tool captures multiple frames from a video and merges them into one large grid image, commonly used for video covers, index pages, or content overviews.
All frame capture and compositing happens locally in your browser.
How to Use
Generate a thumbnail grid in three steps:
- Upload a video (MP4, WebM, MOV, AVI, etc.).
- Set the number of rows, columns, and thumbnail width; enable timestamps if needed.
- Click Generate to preview, then download the PNG image.
Tips
- 3 rows × 4 columns (12 frames) suits most videos.
- Enabling timestamps helps you quickly locate the shot you're looking for.
- Not happy with the layout? Adjust the rows and columns and generate again.
