What Is the White Balance Tool?
The White Balance tool automatically corrects color casts in photos — a quick fix for shots taken with incorrect white balance settings.
It uses the gray-world algorithm to analyze the colors of the whole image and automatically computes and applies the correction, with no need to pick a gray point or adjust color temperature manually.
How to Correct White Balance
Follow these steps:
- Drop or upload a photo with a color cast.
- Adjust the strength as needed (100% by default).
- Click Correct White Balance to see the result.
- Download the corrected image as a PNG file.
Tips
- For strong color casts, keep the strength at 100%.
- Images dominated by a single color (e.g. a solid red background) may not correct well.
- Pair with Auto Contrast afterwards to further improve the look.
