What Is Screen Capture?
Screen Capture takes a picture of any part of your screen using your browser's built-in capture API. You can crop to the area you need and add annotations before saving. Everything stays in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
How to Take a Screenshot
Follow these steps:
- Click Start Screen Capture and pick the screen, window, or tab to share in the system dialog.
- Drag a rectangle on the preview to crop, or keep the whole screen.
- Use the toolbar to annotate: pencil, rectangle, circle, arrow, text, or mosaic.
- Click the checkmark to confirm and download the PNG, or press Esc to cancel.
Tips
- Press Ctrl+Z to undo the last annotation step.
- The result is copied to your clipboard automatically on supported browsers.
- For long pages, scroll to the area you want before capturing — this tool captures what is on screen.
